Integrated Management Systems Policy

(Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety)

Carbon Light Pvt. Ltd. (“CLPL”) recognizes that effective management of Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, impacts is a fundamental part of its business and accordingly CLPL shall strive to integrate sound practices across the management and governance systems to minimize Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, risks and impacts.

IMS Policy Statement:

CLPL envisions that the activities undertaken by it directly or indirectly shall comply with applicable national/state specific Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, requirements, including all applicable legal, regulatory, best practices promulgated by the relevant national & international agencies and requirements relating to all three standards (QMS/EMS/OHSMS).

CLPL shall endeavour to:

  • Demonstrate leadership and excellence in managing the projects sustainably on Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety aspects through a risk management approach along with a regulatory compliance approach;
  • Avoid, and where avoidance is not possible, minimize, mitigate or offset adverse impacts and build up positive impacts by means of planning and management;
  • Ensure Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, risks associated with its activities are identified and mitigated to implement prevention, hazard elimination and control systems from their products during their life cycle in line with best practices to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP);
  • Conserve resources by implementing management programs and initiatives, adopting efficient technologies and manufacturing process improvements, wherever feasible;
  • Manage the wastes generated from its activities through application of best available techniques before disposing off externally;
  • Raise Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety awareness through participation and consultation with employees at all levels of our operations through training and creative, diverse and effective channels of communication;
  • Engage internally and externally with its stakeholders and service providers for broadening understanding of Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, priorities, their links to global issues and initiate actions on key challenges;
  • Influence our contractors and suppliers to adopt integrated policies, principles and practices and encourage appropriate management across the supply and value chain;
  • Actively communicate and disclose our policy and approach to all interested parties and stakeholders;
  • Create a Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety, monitoring plan and verify its implementation and effectiveness by documenting the results. It shall further take necessary mitigation measures if required.
  • Be committed to continually improving our IMS performance (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety).
  • This policy is reviewed periodically to take account of applicable local, statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements and any changes in work activity.
